    Hi,

My audi a4 did not come with a service book so I have no idea what needs checking/replacing. It has done 128k now and the service indicator has been on for a while.

Could anyone please send me list of things that need doing or a PDF of service internal guide would be nice

    Thanks

    hi mate

i would say it really depends on how you drive.

Since ive had my Audi A4 (over a year now), ive started servicing the car every 6k miles. main things to change is the oil and oil filter, but other such as Pollen Filter, Air Filter and Fuel Filter and Coolant level should be changed one a year but again depends if you are doing local or high mileage. if the later then they will also need changing.

also would be worth checking the condition of the Cambelt. I got mine done as soon as i got mine .. peace of mind really.

i think the service and oil inspection comes on every 10k but can be reset.

    Hi there....

You say the indicator can be reset?
I have a 2001 A4 TDi 130 sport and the service indicator has been on for a while now.
I've tried various other sites' advice to reset it but it hasn't worked.

Any ideas will be gratefully received

There is a guide in the "How To..." forum on how to clear the service indicator. Worth trying it for your car. Involves using the clock and odometer buttons on the dash display.

    Find it here.

Meant to add I am also on the look out for a what should be done when list.

I want to start servicing my 2000 A4 1.9TDI and am aware of things like....

    Oil/Filter
    Air Filter
    Pollen Filter
    Fuel Filter (Every service?)
    Check fluid levels

But I want to know how often I should change brake fluid, coolant. What else should I grease up like hinges. What other checks should I make to the car?
