I fancy a leather interior for my saloon, problem is, the one ive found is from an Avant/estate of the same year. While i realise i wont get any use of the 60/40 split part of the rear seat, will it fit anyway?

can you be a little more thorough please? is it the seat 'back' (upright part) or the lower part you sit on that will cause a problem?

fronts and rear bench will go straight in,
rear seat back on your car is one piece and slotted in to solid rear metal backing, avants (and quattro saloons) have folding seats and are in 4 parts, you have no mounting or locking points for any of the parts, also some avants have a middle 3 point seat belt built in to seat so would have to be secured properly

it has been done though, but you will need some mounts fabricated

if interior is going very cheap id have your own back covered to match, or keep looking for correct one
