    Hello there,

I have an O3 plate A6 Avant 1.8T with the CD Navigation system.

I bought and had fitted an Acoustic Solutions ICS-100 DAB unit and it works very well with a seperate windscreen screen mounted ariel.

Te only criticism I'd have is that each time you re-scan for new stations you lose your presets but it only takes a couple of minutes to sort those out.

And you'll not notice that the DAB signal is being broadcast over an FM frequency as the signal is as good as it can be.

Hope this is of use even if it is a last resort for you...

These are pretty good as well - and have an input for a mp3 player of your choice!

Not as ideal as a built in solution though - but probably significantly cheaper!

I've got an 08 A6 Le mans and enquired at the dealer I bought it from about retro fitting the DAB unit. Quoted around about a £1000 as the dash has to come out MMI updated and other electrical work......needless to say after I picked myself up I didn't bother having it done!
