No reversing lights on 2002 GT TDi 150.

Greetings!

I bought my GT TDi 150 a couple of months ago but I recently realised the reversing lights aren't working. At first I thought bulb but since nothing is happening on either side I then figured check fuse but the fuse diagram that is in the car is next to useless - half the fuses aren't marked as anything on the card.

I've searched online for a diagram to no avail.

Can any of you help please and also suggest what else ay be causing the issue?

first, just because there may be 2 bulbs, don't rule out a double failure, so check them first. then see if there is a live feed to them when ign is on and you select reverse. if not, check each and every fuse. just pull each one out and check its not blown. may take 5 mins but you may find others that have blown. if they are all ok, check the switch works.

Thanks. Bulbs and fuses are all intact and I have neither the expertise nor the kit to check anything else. Guess it's a visit to my favourite and inexpensive VW expert tomorrow who happens to be on the estate where I work.
