    so the silver keyring bit off my key fob broke off!!

    anyone know how much it will cost for a new key?
    and do i have to reprogramme the key or can i just replace the outer bit?

    if it is the flip key, you can buy it in 2 parts. Key part and transponder part. I think they are both around the £50 mark from the ********.

    When you get the transponder part, i am not sure, but it may be possible to take the thing apart and swap over the internals. This way, you wont have to reprogram they key. If this is the case, you could prob ably pick up a key off ebay cheaper and salvage the parts :0

    yer thats what i was hoping for, to buy a second hand key swap the transponder and key, but didnt know if that was possible
