VW Sharan Electric Window Malfunction

Hello,
The rear passenger offside window in my VW Sharan (Nov 2001 New Shape) will no longer open - it simply stopped working one day and has not worked since - it will not work with either the driver's switch or the passenger door switch. All other electric windows are OK. I was wondering if anyone had suffered the same problem and if there was an easy solution that I could manage to fix myself. I am happy to remove door trim or renew relays, etc. Any ideas anyone?

you need to trace your loom from window switch to the gater rubber in door joint may have slight brake in wire through streting or just age...in my opinion not the switch as it would work from drivers door...also check under pass seat for any water maybe if so them relays could be your problem...just a thought...

Check the wiring for breakages in the rubber boot that goes from the body to that door
