sports driver seat for 2003 A4 Saloon

I maybe changing my car and taking the wifes A4.

Its a TDI and not a sport or an SE.
I want to get a sports seat with lombar support, just replacing the driver seat not the whole interior.

Has anyone else done this ? what different seats will it take ? My current car is an M Sport BMW E46 and I love the seats, will the same seat fit the audi ?

most audi a3 an 4 seats will fit dont think the beemer seats will fit unless u do a lot ov chopping and personaly would look a bit silly

anyone shed a bit more light on it, I heard that golf seats would fit too. Recaro MK4 GTI seats would be nice enough.

The A3 and the Golf are essentially the same platform and share many parts but I would check to be sure before spending money.

The lumbar support will have an electrical connection. Pretty sure the wiring loom will be on the TDi (floor) - but you'll need to connect.

I'd start with a breakers yard to source seat. Half the battle will to find one in good condition, and then of course in the same material as the rest of the car - no mean feat!
