VAGCOM near Stirling, Scotland

I am just about to do another service on my Passat 130 TDi estate and need to find a friendly VAGCOM user near Stirling. I relocated here last year from Hertfordshire and haven't found anyone local to me as yet.

Also need a VW mechanic contact for Timing belt change.

I've just got a vag-com HEX-USB+CAN Interface I think you need vag Tacho or commander to alter the mileage

Point to note!!

Dont assume that because I ask a question regarding mileage correction that I am altering an odometer to a lesser value. (how many miles do you think one can have on an odometer in 1 year ?)

Also bear in mind that it is not illegal to alter your odometer. It is only illegal if you fail to tell the buyer of a car that has had the odometer altered.

So for your information, I am not a car dealer, and I do not and will not have a car to sell and I will not be altering the odometer in the ORIGINAL ENGINE.

Furthermore I am a software developer and no absolutely nothing about cars or engines.

Well perhaps you should have explained yourself better, asking two questions in a matter of days about how to alter a vehicles mileage is bound to raise suspicions. It’s a bit like saying you were only looking at child porn sites in the name of research.
