    Evening eveyone

On the way home this evening the Engine Management Light came on on the S4 dash, lumpy running but no limp home mode?!?

Green Flag came out, and have diagnosed either coil packs, catalytic or the one which i dare not consider which is the head gasket!!

Has anyone had a similiar problem??

any help appreciated before it becomes an anchor!!

lol the AA are no better I no longer listen to what they say when they tow a car in and they sometimes clear the fault codes makes my life a little harder (I dont mind so much on VAG cars I look at it as a challenge)

bez101 is right, no fault codes just lots of it could be's and what if's. Apparently their is a fair amount of moisture coming out the pipes (it was getting cold, so could be condensation)!

Is anyone reading this in Reading with a VagCom?? Otherwise next step is to get it down to Fontain in Iver to get it looked at!
