    unclip cover behind door pull lever using small screwdriver remove cross head screw then working from bottom of door unclip panel using a flat blade [if u havent got the correct tool ] do this carefully DO NOT FORCE PANEL when panel is unclipped from door release electrical connections the moisture sheet can be taken off & refixed up to 3 times without using additional sealants, hope this helps andy

    Hi Andy

    I'h having difficulty at the first step ... I'm having difficulty unclipping the cover behind the door pull handle. Can you give more detail on how to do this please.

    just prize it of its not screwed in when prize of you will then see 3 i think 13mm bolts take out then follow the rest as instructed above.you wont break it...

    Hello.
    I've recently also have to dismantle a front door panel of my 2001 Sharan, and i've found this great forum the explains, with pictures, a lot of procedures. It's in german, but with google translate its readable.
