Hi folks, wife driving Sharan today and glow plug light came on and started flashing with 'workshop' coming up on dash display. Car has been booked in next week for timing belt change 115k so spoke to mechanic who said glow plug flash could just be a bulb out somewhere. Checked and found both brake lights not working, so changed them and still no brake lights. Any suggestions please, before i cause a pile up

No, high level not working either. Intermittantly earlier lights were working, maybe once in every 15-20 times i touched the brake pedal (wife was standing in rain behind car, 7 months pregnant and our 2 yr old in her arms, all picture, no sound ) Loose wires? Gonna check fuse 15 now, as suggested above, cheers. Feel free to continue with advice all!
