    Hi
I have a 2001 A4 1.9TDI. The problem I have is if I apply the foot brake rapidly the pedal will fall to the floor. The brakes seem to operate OK under normal conditions. The brakes pump hard with ignition off, but if I start the engine whilst applying the brake the pedal falls. Hope I have given enough info for someone to give me some pointers. Thanks in advance

Has anything been done to it recently? Have you had a problem with water ingress into the car or the plenum chamber around the battery filling up with water?

I had a new rear caliper about 3000 miles 1 months ago. This was done at the same time as a service was carried out. No sign of water ingress though
