Hi guys just wanted to know If I need to setup car with vagcom to recgnise MFD2 which has recently been installed. It seems to be working fine other than no TMC which it has been not been able to pick up signal and I thought this might be something to do with vagcom.

If this is required anyone have vagcom in London?

TMC is not available in Uk. You can only get that working if you upgrade to the 2008 DVD or CD. iS YOUR UNIT dvd or cd?
Did not have to do anything with vag com when i installed mine.

I have an MFD2 CD Based system in my Seat Leon, and TMC works OK on that... You just need to use a "TMC" enabled CD to allow it to work.

It gets it's details from Classic FM

For your MFD2 DVD system to receive TMC you will need this:
    http://navigation.teleatlas.com/en/s...ex-pr6379.html.
I had to upgrade mine to this and now i can receive TMC.
