Bodyshop here I come...

One sad 5 month old A4 with a slightly bashed rear passenger door thanks to a hit and run in a car park.

Oh well, Audi approved bodyshop will relieve the insurance company of nigh on.....gulp.... £1000 and it will be back on the road after a week with a new door. I was surprisingly calm about it all...it is just a car and will be as good as new soon but the hassle is unbelievable.Thank goodness for good service from the bodyshop.

Saw an even more mangled A4 that looked terminal but would be rebuilt. Wonder what the record is for how quickly a new car had to be reshaped after delivery?

I'll start.

A couple of years ago I collected my TT 3.2 DSG on the Saturday and some one pulled out on me and mangled the left hand side on the Sunday.

Six months later a gang of four youths in a stolen Nove ran into me (deliberately) and car-jacked the car.

A little unlucky with that one,
