my 98 MK4 Golf 1.9 Tdi has a bad smell in it and i just cant get to the bottom of it....as the dsah, sterring wheel, seating is aged and worn looking i'm thinking about retrimming the whole interior as a result and at the same time hopefully banish that bad smell.

any of you know what this might entail or how much ?

(sorry if i'm in wrong thread)
