While looking through ebay I found the below.....

As i already have Cruise control its not something i would be intrested in... i have no idea how much the parts only cost.. but seemed an ok deall..

please note... I have just seen the link on ebay and not linked to the advert at all!

Can strongly recommend them indeed

The work is guaranteed for 36 months too which isn't too bad

Just out of intrest... Ca nanyone remeber how much it cost as an option?

When I bought My B7 it was a £150 option.

I bought new parts from vagparts and did the job for £55 all in. Seems like a good money eaner to me!!

Presumably you already had the correct SCSM, since that part alone is over £100 from Vagparts. A new SCSM+stalk+trim cost me about £150.

Oddly, the ad on ebay makes no mention of the fact that if people already have the correct SCSM then the installation should be ~£100 cheaper...

These were the guys I was thinking of doing mine, but I'd have to pay the extra £50 callout to Glasgow, AND make the trip down there.

Either that or I call them out to almost Carlisle when I'm there next. I think that's TOO expensive.
