    What do the two aerial connections on the rear of 2007 onward double DIN Audi Stereo's do? I upgraded to the newer type and have now got a weak signal - is there any way of rectifying this?

    Do you mean you've upgraded to a new stereo? VAG stereos have the necessary radio signal amplification built in, so if you've changed to a different make you should really buy a seperate signal amplifier. They are about £10 down Halfords - a small device that sits between your aerial connection, and it is powered from one of the aerial remote wires you mentioned. Ask the guys at Halfords.
