    Hi,

has anyone found the best place to put the trolley jack when trying to jack up a passat?
I have tried under the official "jacking point" adjacent to the plastic pull out flap behind the front wheels, but when up in the air the car was very unstable and aborted the attempt.
Also when the car is in the air where do you put the axle stands as the jack is in the way?
I have no confidence in the scissor jack supplied with car when using these jacking points either, as the height required to remove the wheel makes the jack look usafe.

    Hi Smeg,
This might interest you.Unfortunately a lot of the picture are no longer on line, but there are some on page 4 of the installed items.I fitted these a few years ago.I think that they are officially Audi TT but my local VW dealer got me a set.
