    my car is 98 golf 1.6 se, i want to change the speedo clock from the later version golfs or bora, which has the centre line displays. mine has got the trip computer showing on the left hand side clock display. can anyone help me with this question??? many thanks

    You could but first it needs to be the same immobiliser(yours could be immo2 the new cluster could be immo 3 !) then you need the seed key for both clusters ! You will need the new cluster seed key/pin to be able to match the immobiliser to the car's ECU and to match the car's keys to the new immobiliser ! You will also need the old cluster seed key just to be able to revert back in case the new one does not work ! Take it with caution....
