    hi new on the forum any help greatly appriciated i had the bet done 3 weeks ago on my 2000 tdi with vw now snapped they have told me oil pump has gone r hey having my pants down ? 3000 repair jaymes

    The oil pump is chain driven off the crank totally separately from the cam belt and I fail to see how that could cause the belt to snap.
