If you noticed that the central locking pump was overrunning after you`d locked the doors then the impeller IMPLODES as it overheats.... Check it out in your boot.

hi there where in the boot would i find it cos i have looked in the boot and have not found anything i've took the carpet out ,

i'm abit confused as the central locking was working fine on wednesday but when i went to lock the car on thursday morning when i went to the shop the only door that would lock is the door i used the key in none of the other doors would lock and i did hear a weird noise abit like a humming noise earlier on thursday morning but thought nothing of it at the time, could this have been an early sign that the central locking pump say was packing up any other help would be appreciated
