I came out of my house this morning to see that the passenger door of my neighbour's 1999 Golf Cabriolet was missing. Someone had helped themselves to it during the night.

It is almost beyond belief that anyone would have the neck to dismantle and steal the door when the car was parked on the drive.

bloody hell. i've heard of wheel trims and wing mirrors etc, but a whole door?

i bet they broke in via the driver's door too, so that the passenger on was still ok.

I must ask the question... How? if the car was locked, that means they've gained entry, dismantled and removed an entire door, without a sound being made?

That's exactly what happened. We have ajoining garages with the neighbour and the Golf was parked on their drive. I have two dogs who normally bark if there is anyone snooping around, but not last night.

A DOOR?? Seriously someone has stolen a whole door? This is beyond any description of the situation I can give
You may think I'm being helpful yet sarcastic, this is only because I feel I need to help you to help yourself in the future
