Anyone here have the dynamic steering and dampering stuff? Was coming home last night round some country roads, wasn't going overly fast, just hopped off the motorway and had "Comfort on", went round a corner and clipped the mirror on some bushes going through. I always find Comfort really over compensates too much if you're in "town", but saying that, I do always drive using dynamic in country and in town, I like feeling the bumps and knowing that where I turn the wheel is pretty much were it's going to go..

I could be completely wrong, and that it didn't compensate and I just had a bit of a mere when I was driving back home.

Took a corner a bit fast (was doing 70) around a motorway corner, thought I was going to end up in the chevrons, my poor dad kinda said, hmm, handling was better than I thought, I'll need to do some further testing... Again, all this was on dynamic.

Anyway, most of this is random witterings, just interested to see what other people say, and infact what other people find without the dampering and stuff...

Where did I put my wine glass?

i've got the drive select as well. to be honest, i put mine to auto most of the time but when i feel like a racer boy, will switch it to dynamic mode. once in that mode, the car feel much more eager to move, the revs happen faster, the steering gets heavier (especially in a corner), it really brings out the racer boy in me. :-P

on another note, can one install s-line suspension if one has drive select??

This has to be the best option (IMO), great for cruising with comfort then zipping round back roads!

I have it installed on my S Line with a 30mm drop.

    Servotronic - is speed dependant
Dynamic - does same as above but also works with suspension esp etc.
Quartz Grey B8 2.0tdi S-Line, Milano leather, Drive Select with Damper control, Servotronic steering, Comfort Pack, Symphony DAB radio head unit with B&O sound system, Bluetooth low prep, Hill hold, Cruise control, Interior light pack, Standard 18" alloys with 30mm drop. Tyre pressure monitoring, De-badged. - fhew!
