    Default Engine management light – 23-01-2007,05:08 PM
    My engine management light has come on, and a have a very lazy temperature gauge which sometimes gives a reading, and sometimes does'nt. Anyone have any ideas as to what this could be, as the car is running fine!

    I just bought a '53 A4 Cab 3.0 and have the same issue, did you ever get a reply to this or get it sorted

    sounds like a coolant temp sensor, search the forum - there is a 'how to' replace it.

    I had it on my A3 and it turned out both brake lights were out! Easy one to check.
