Hi my name is Stu,

Just picked up my first Audi which I have been waiting for the last 8 months for.

Its an V-plate A6 2.5DTI Quattro in black - must say first impressions are very good - lovely drive with tons of power and class.

Chose this car over a new motorbike due to the dismal summer we have.

Welcome to the forum, Stu.

I too have an A6. I think they're great cars, but ensure you check out the A6 section as there are a few common problems that may need attending to at some stage.

Don't want to worry you since you've just bought it, but I would check two things with the A6. First of all ensure you don't have a damp footwell, and second ensure you don't have a chattering noise or a vibrating poly V belt when stationary on full lock either way.

So far, I've done nearly 25k in mine, and no major problems whatsoever.
