Hi everyone, im a newbie so sorry if I am not posting correctly

I have a question for all you clever people

I have a 2004 A3 2.0DSG that keeps going into limp mode with an engine code of p0299, I have done loads of google'ing and people are talking about turbo actuator or N75 valve.

    The story so far....

Throttle sensor and solenoid block have been changed, vacum tests have also be done and am told that all is good from that...

I was told that the 2.0tdi does not have a N75, this was replaced by the solenoid block but replacing that didnt work, I cant see and leaks in any air pipes etc. either, the car has been to Audi and they tell me they cant fix it, yes i was in shock to! They did however change a glow plug because they thought that may solve the issue, so I am never going back to Audi

Has anyone had a similar problem to this before? or does anyone have any suggestios from here, I personally dont think the turbo is at fault because if it was then surely it would be in limp mode all the time or not?

Another point to add is that it has had an oscarri remap but this was done a long time after the problem first started and it doesnt seem to have made any difference at all

Ouch that must have been expensive!

After months of running around I finally got this fixed yesterday, turned out to be the manifold flip motor....

Loads of people have had issues with these, i though vags were meant to be solid....
