When I leave my Golf for a few days the disc discolour (rusty colour). I think this is due to the rain and weather, is there any way to reduce/stop this? The marks go after I drive it a few miles

Both my MKII and my girlfriends MKIII do this. Like you say it dissapears after a few applications of the brakes. I wouldn't worry to much about it.

Most if not all car brake discs do this. Nothing that can be done, except good application of the brakes once you drive off.

It is nothing to worry about though.

    Regards

i agree, nothing to worry about if the 'rust' goeas ater applying the brakes a few times i'd only worry if the rust stays.
