Audi A3 warranty

My girlfriend has a 2005 2,0tdi A3 (5door). It is still within the warranty mileage and age but having taken it into the dealers regarding cracked/faded leather on a seat bolster and the electric window switches starting turn white, with the black coating coming off; the girlfriend was told that the interior is only warranted for 6000 miles. The car now has 48k miles

Anyone know if this is true?

that doesn't sound right.

read the warrenttee documents and see if they are excluded. Ask teh dealer to prove this (ie show you where audi say there is 6000mile limit)

failing that, talk to trading standards.
