    Ahh, it is an ANU, not many of those about. A 90 PS PD TDI. A new loom should sort it.

    If the loom is the same as the PD engine the clip methodology will be clear when you get the new loom. A good squeeze with long nosed pliers and it should pull off. Be careful not to damage the injectors!!!!

    Interesting, a 90 PS (~BHP) PD engine. Didn't realise such an engine existed.

    A little clearer now; ANU seems to be specific to only VW Sharans and not to any other VWs.

    Hooray!! Fitted new loom yesterday and everything appears to be running as smooth as a bar of Galaxy!! Thanks everyone you've managed to help solve a 4 year mystery that Arnold Clark Volkswagen failed to do! Though i imagine now the warranty has elapsed they might be a bit more helpful..... But thankfully I now don't need to go anywhere near them!!
