    hello new to this site but wonderd if anyone can tell me if the front coil sprrings on a 1999 a6 avant easy to do thanks shaun

    They're pretty easy - you'll need a decent pair of spring compressors though.

    Hi there
    Read the thread just now and would appreciate your advice / help as we have just suffered a broken fron offside srping. Where's the best and cheapest place to get a new pair please? If you could send me the procedure, I'd be very grateful.

    have sent the required info. If you have done this before it should be familiar enough.

    I would try somebody like GSF parts for the spring. They are always good value, and decent quality.

    Bolt that holds uper wishbone links (nut 1 in diagram) can be a bit of a sod to undo.
