Climate stopped working

As the topic says, my climate control has stopped working on my 2001 1.8T. I had the gas refilled at kwik-fit, but to no avail. No charge though.

Any suggestions?

Stopped working.. does that mean it comes on but won't blow cold air, or that it just doesn't come on at all?

Once, mine came one but wouldn't blow any air through and it turned out the ignition switch was twitchy.

Compressor clutch failure is common, check the compressor engages when you select auto and cold air.

The fan works fine, just no icy cold air when on low temps. It's working as a normal fan / heater system would do.

You need to get the codes read.

Check that the secondary electric fan (not the main engine driven fan) starts up when you select cold air and as Snap says, a code read of the HVAC would be a good idea.
