    Hi Guys,
I have recently replaced the V157 Inlet Flap Motor due to an ESP light on on the dashboard.
Unfortunately I broke the locking tab on the electrical connector because the plug was stuck fast on the old flap motor. The plug still fits ok on the new component but doesn't click on and lock. So there is a possibility of it sliding off with vibration.
I went to my dealer and bought a new connector enclosure for a small price.
My question is how do you remove the old pins from the broken plug? I do know that you are supposed to remove them from the front using a special VAS tool and pull the pin out the back. Has anyone done this without the special tool? If so please could you let me know how?
    Many thanks.
