    Hi all,

    I have recently purchased a VW Golf Mk5 diesel. 35k on the and have noticed something that I have not felt on other cars.

    When I dip the clutch an inch or so I can feel vibration from the engine (I assume) coming through the pedal. Is this just a diesel thing or something to worry about?

    I got it from a VW main dealer.

    Hi Paul,

    I had that on my Golf and I've got it on my A4.

    Have seen quite a few threads about it and he concensus seems to be its normal as long as it doesn't get any worse!

    elPaulio is correct... it's just a "characteristic" of the hydraulic clutchs accross the VAG range.
