    Bora 2.0L SE 2000

When starting from cold, changing up through the box, I hit 2100-2300, the engine dips and really struggles to increase rpm's.

There is a bit of Kangarooing going on when this occurs.

If I dip the clutch or change down a gear it can come back up through this dead spot.

Once running and up to temp. it subsides.

Does anyone have experience of this?

    Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks

2 things come to mind, fuel pump blocked mesh pickup(in tank) or filthy fuel filter but thats rare.cold start valve(on one end of inlet manifold small finger lenght part) and possibly check the fuel hose rubber pipe(10cm long) from o/s firewall area to inlet manifold for leaks.
