Squeak on start-up & acceleration

Hi,

My 2007 1.9 TDi Match has developed a squeak which occurs when I turn the ignition key to start-up. I've also noticed the same noise when I accelerate (say, from 2nd to 3rd). It's not loud, but definitely there.
Has anyone had this before?

sounds like a loose belt.

I had this too, for a bit after getting my timing belt changed. Noise just seemed to go away though.
