    Hello. Looking at getting a 2005 '05 plate 2.0 tdi s line.

Can someone list the extras that came with the s line edition over the standard A4?

    Thanks

    Hi there

    I have owned a 2005 SE and now own a 2006 S-Line.

As far as I know/see this is what you get for each trim level as standard

    SE

    • Cruise Control
    • 16" or 17" Alloy wheels
    • 4x electric windows
    • Euro style gearknob
    • Standard leather 4 spoke steering wheel
    • Aluminium fascia plates but black gear stick surround
    • Rear exhaust valance in grey
    • Some models like mine came with the lifestyle pack- rear parking sensors and storage pack and 6cd symphony changer.
    S-Line

    • NO cruise control as standard
    • 17" or 18" Alloy wheels
    • 4x electric windows
    • Front sports seats with electric lumbar support
    • Some models come with auto-dimming rain sensor mirror
    • A beefier front grille/side skirts
    • Rear exhaust valance in matching paint colour
    • S-Line sports suspension
    • 3 spoke sports leather steering wheel
    • Ball type gear knob (better than the SE one for defininte)
    • Rear spoiler for Avant only
    • Full aluminium trim
    • Some models came with the BOSE stereo upgrade

However Audi's are very easy to spec to your preferences so you will find you will have extra kit in some cars over other, it's a case of shopping around.

The S-Line has a bit more presence on the road due to the larger front grilles and body kit, the SE looks a bit more conservative and has softer suspension,

They use the same engines apart from some of the S-Line special editions which have extra power upgrade.

    Hope this helps you out.

The one ive ordered doesnt have cruise control, but it does have 18 alloys, the BOSE stereo upgrade and a full black leather interior.

    Guess im onto a winner.

    Nice one.
What year is the one you have ordered? It sounds like an S-Line special edition if you have the leather interior.

Dont think its the special edition (whats the difference incidently?) - certainly isnt advertised as one.

    Its a 2005 A4 Avant 2.0 Tdi S-Line in Phantom Black.

    Ah OK 2005 isn't a special edition.

The special edition v1.0 is like mine, came with two-tone leather seats, multi-function steering wheel, DTM alloys, black headlining, and power upgrade to the engine. 170ps for the diesel and 220ps for the petrol.

You have a pretty good spec on your one though which incidently is the same colour as mine

Ah i see. I was originally fancying getting the 2.0 Tdi Quattro, but its a little out of my price range at the moment.

More than happy with my choice mind you. Its time to go sensible. Trading in my Civic Type R for something more family / dog / mountain biking friendly.

Saying that, i can hear an engine re-map calling my name..............
