    Hi All,

I have been searching the forum for answers without much luck thus far.

Do any of you know where I can get some instructions or similar that explain how to replace the standard wing mirror covers with the chrome effect CAPS? It might be an easy installation buts it’s always best to ask before destroying the car.

There is a chap on ebay selling them for £135.00 a set and he informs me that they are very easy to fit . I'm not convinced.

    Any replies appreciated.

    Carl

I'll send you a PM on how to remove the covers, best not to publish on a public forum.

Hi I put the S4 mirrors on yesterday. They are the matte aluminum finish which is the same as the roof rails. Looks very good against the phantom black paintwork.

I recommend you look at this link if you want to install these mirror caps. It took me all of 20 minutes in total.

Nice- I had a courtesy A4 in that colour when mine was in for a service. The mirrors will look good- are you going to get the ones off ebay. Probably the same guy I bought mine from, he had a few sets available.
