I'm currently trying to order front discs and pads for my car but I'm being told there are two sizes 288mm and 312mm and no one can confirm which ones i have, can some one confirm the size for me, my car is the passat tdi 130bhp sport.

Also i need to change the front left CV boot as its split and throwing grease all over the wheel arch, does any one still do the boot that you glue together as i fitted one of these to my vr6 many years ago it saved so much time not having to take the drive shaft off. I'm trying rack my brains where i got it from. if they are no longer around how hard is it to put a cv boot on.

    Cheers

AFAIK, the V6s use the larger ones, and the 4 or 5 cyl the smaller ones.

If you type all of your option codes into...

it will tell you, these are three digit codes on a label under the boot carpet (usually)
