    hi,have just noticed some water coming from under the car?the water is clear.so had a look under the hood and noticed pink coolant had coe out from a little nut on top of a pipe,i have read other posts and they go on about pressure caps,is this the case with mine?nationwide have changed coolant six weeks ago could they have caused this?

    It could be from the aircon !
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)

    The aircon condenses the air air and the water runs out of the evaporator.
    If the water under your car is from the aircon it is nothing to worry about, its normal.
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)

    Mine did this recently (if it's the same, 1.8T) and I had to replace the large black metal pipe that goes across the top of the engine (from front to back) as the bleed screw was leaking, easy enough job 1/2 hour and £40 from the *******

    I was told by the ******* this is a commom problem and they had the part in stock to prove it

    hi blicky,must be exactly the same as yours although my car is 2.0 a4,must be just one of those things that goes,i guess.lucky i have the car booked in the garage tomorrow for cam belt change,will ask them to sort it out.

    it may not be the full pipe just replace the bleed screw as the washer may have gone like on mine all 18T goes at some point the washer and screw is just over a £1 at audi

    Yeah, no need to do the whole pipe, mine was just the screw... took all of 2mins to change with the right alan key!

    lol, £40 still aint too bad for an Audi part from the Audi dealer!!
    I initially thought it was a big job... & was thinkin in the hundreds for a repair... but got away with a £2 screw/washer! Job done!
