    of octavia 1 tdi estate ?
    I cart my surfboards daily to the sea and am changing from a Volvo 940 estate. Please could someone use a tape measure with the rear seats down and give me the load length up to rear of front seats as well as the width?

    A measurement of the hatchback version would be fine instead as I expect they are the same. All the details I have found list only the load volume in liters. In the mean time I will have my tape measure with me so If I see one I can ask the owner to let me do a measurement.

    70 inches X 40 inches (approx.) [40 inches between rear wheel arches].....estate dimensions.
