Help Engine swap potential problems help

Hi People

Me and my friend are amateur mechanics (wannabes) and want to do an engine swap on a 98 passat. I am going to swap a 98 afn engine to a 98 ahu. The 110bhp to the 90bhp. I am going to mainly change just the the block. I know the mounting is the same think I’ll need to also put the turbo from the ahu. I’m not going to change the ecu. Now here is where the pros and smart ones can help me. What problems am I likely to encounter. I've checked with a few mechanics and they seem to think it should be possible with no major problems.

Mate I done this swap 3 years ago.The engines are identical.I even left the afn injection pump and injectors on.It goes even better than the old ahu.It`s still going strong today,runs great on 50/50 veg oil/diesel mix.
