    I am new here. Can anyonne tell me if the vw 2.0 sdi is ok for towing a caravan.

    It probably is... but I imagine it will be very, very sluggish.

    I tow with my sdi and its fine. Surprisingly good in fact.

    Still got plenty of torque but I would avoid hill starts

    We have just towed our new adria altea 390 ds up to inverness, no problems so far. Never seen so many vans as up here. Its a joy to tow.
