Hi & 'quick' question

Hi there,

Purchased an 02 Bora 130 TDi 9 months ago and loving it. Only problem is the windscreen wipers have started playing up!

Initially they were a bit hesitant in getting going, but now they almost refuse to move. Wouldn’t be so bad if we actually had a summer but in rainy old England its becoming a bit of a nightmare!

Anyone out there have any answers / suggestions where to start looking to fix them?

hi i had the same problem 3 weeks ago it's the wiper mechinnsim seized up easy job a bit fiddly ,you need to take off your wipers then your black plastic bit around the wind screen then undo bolts from wiper motor etc then on the mechinnsin thers a c clip undo take apart free it off put back together .Before you do this mark the wiper motor the postion you take it off its quicker in the long run and dont have to realine every thing .make sure you put that plastic bit around the window back on right or you will get a water leak inside your car -done it got the t shirt .let me know if it works
