    hi every 1 first post and need help,

    bought a 52 plate bora 1.9 tdi 130 se in april with 64000 miles on it,
    just yesterday the glw plug light started flashing and now the esp light comes on and the rear brake lights dont work has any one got any idea if this is linked some how or am i just unlucky

    cheers for any help in advance

    check the bulbs first. if both outer bulbs are out the glow plug light will flash even though the centre high level light still works.
    not sure about the esp light unless you have knocked the dash switch by mistake and turned it off?
    or as stated earlier if brake switch on pedal has totally failed it may/or may not cause esp light to come on perhaps?

    just a quick thanks to Kenney and Stewy L for the help, it was the brake switch, replaced and all sorted now
