Hi from South Wales / Switzerland

Hi everyone.

I've just recently registered and now popped in to tell you a few things about me.

I live in Pontypool in South Wales but i'm currently working on a contract in Switzerland. My work is an upholsterer, but I progressed into the world of car trimming many moons ago. I am currently working for the worlds biggest outfitter of private jets and airliners in Basel, Switzerland. My wife passed her test while I was out there so she had to have the 06 plate Fiesta, I then went and bought a 1997 P reg Audi A4 Avant, which has performed admirably on the monthly commute to Switzerland. The car only has a couple of faults (warped discs, radiator leak and the air con needs topping up) all the previous are not difficult for me to rectify. There is however one fault that has got me mistified. One day i started her up to go to work and she wouldn't tickover. This rectified itself within 5 minutes. However it has now come back and is a right royal pain. I have read many posts relating to this subject, but they are not quite the same problem as mine. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
