have a bit of a problem with my 2004 gt tdi

i tried installing a bluetooth hands free in my car and blew the radio or at least i think i did i got a new radio from my mates car and that too does not work?
so i would say its a fuse but i cannot find the fuse for the radio. i have checked the fuse behind the radio and swapped it( even though it was ok)

so now i'm loking for the fuse in the car

any help would be most greatful

    Hey Nav,

The fuse box is on the right hand side of the dash. You need to open the door to get at the end panel, then remove it with your key. There is a slot near the bottom specifically for this.

There should be a fuse in there for the radio.

    Hope that helps

    Hey Nav,

The only other location for fuses is in the engine bay.
I believe there is a fuse box in the plastic compartment next to the battery, could check there!! If I get a chance at lunchtime I'll have a look and see if I can find out exactly where it is fused

I think the fuse for the radio is located in the plastic box next battery in the engine compartment.

    Hope this helps.
