Hi all, wonder if anyone can tell me where the above sensor is on the engine as I can't see it in the obvious places adjacent to the radiator etc. Could it be behind the drive belts somewhere?

Also like to mention that the sensor was priced by a local Skoda dealer at £23.00p + vat. I managed to get one from my local motor factor shop for £13.00p including vat. I cheekily asked the Spare parts man at the Skoda dealers if the sensor was the right one and he confirmed that it was. I suppose it pays to shop about a bit me thinks. Cheers all. Neil.

    HI Neil,

The sensor will be on the back of the engine where the gearbox bolts on, it will be a green 4 pin sensor. You will have to lift the cover off the top pf the engine, it just pulls off. The sensor is only clipped in with a plastic u clip

    Hope this helps
