    Hi krb,

I've recently done a service on my wife's Polo, and fitted new Beru spark plugs. I also needed to know the correct gap, so after emailing them I was told that they come pre-gapped at 1.1mm (not sure what that is in old money). I would presume that all standard plugs would use this gap.
    Hope this helps,
    Trev.

I recently bought a POLO HAYNES MANUAL, for my Son who I gave a 1.2 12V SEAT IBIZA to recently.
Spark-gaps ranged from 0.8 mm to 1.1 mm for platinum or iridium-tipped plugs. I bought a set of 3 DENSO Iridium-tipped ones thr'o the net. for £28 inc., and they came ready-gapped as they are too fragile to re-gap.
They last about 60,000 miles, without attention and burn clean, rapidly, which is why I bought them, for good MPG, a clean long life from the catalyst.
The DENSO plugs were IK16, from ROADRUNNER AUTOPARTS LTD, at www.carsparkplugs.com
