Anyone getting a new Emden-buit car

Spotted in the Daily Telegraph Sat.28 June:-

"Hailstone damage

Hailstones the size of tennis balls have hit Emden, north western Germany, damaging up to 30,000 vehicles at a Volkswagen plant. Repairs could cost up to £78 million"

Inspect your purchase carefully if that's where it was built.

Dunno where they got the figures from but that's an average of £2,600 per vehicle.

Obviously this affects more than Passats, but not sure where better to post
