Remapped

Just had my A4 170 Quattro remapped at AForAudi in Glasgow with Celtic Tuning. Drove the 180 miles home with a big smile on my face the difference is huge. The torque increase is phenomenal and I could honestly say it is quicker than my old 05 plate 3.0TDI (201bhp). Thanks to Andy at AforAudi I can certainly recommend .

What BHP & Torque is it pushing out now ?

Now at 210BHP and 325lb/ft of torque. Biggest difference is the rev range now pulls up to just over 5k where it used to back of about 4300. Also kicks in about 1900 where it used to be about 2400 (think older ones used to pull from 1900 too but they called cars back for a modification which certainly diluted the performance.

It cost £395. It is also untraceable when the car goes for service so all in all well worth it i think. Not sure the guy in the R32 who tried to keep up with me on the Stonehaven to Netherley road last night thinks so, must be embarrassing getting toasted by a 2.0 diesel

Spoke with one of the Audi techs at my local dealer. He said the techs all know because they can tell when they test drive it but as it costs 2 hours time to download the info no one bothers.

What year was the R32?

The golf was a new model unsure of plate as i was too busy looking ahead lol. caught me on the straights but severely lacked coming out of the corners.
